In October/November of 1995, Margaret and I traveled to Australia and New Zealand for a month. It was the most exciting trip of our travel days! One of the highlights was a stop in Canberra, the capital of Australia, and the nearby Avalanche Homestead.

Flashback Friday - Bondi Beach, Sydney Australia

We visited Australia in October, 1995. Our fall, their spring. Our first stop was Sydney where we spent five days, which only gave us a taste of this wonderful city. One day we took the bus to Bondi Beach, a gorgeous spot less than an hour away. It was pretty cold there. We went around 4:30 and had a late lunch/early dinner. There were a few surfers and brave souls with bathing suits.
