Today’s Flashback Friday is a salute to my wonderful Aunt Rosella Frohman who passed away on July 21, 2016 at age 94. She was an amazing woman who traveled the world. She made an around-the-world trip in 1966 and traveled extensively over the years. I was lucky enough to accompany her on a trip to Alaska for a land and air tour with Princess Cruises. As an amateur photographer who usually just takes family photos and tries to be somewhat artistic when traveling, I was surprised to learn that many pros use just their iPhone to take their photos. I guess I shouldn't be, with the advancements that cell phones have made, they do a great job taking photos without having to carry additional equipment.

The Monterey Peninsula, California. In July of 1990, Margaret and I took the 17-mile drive around the Monterey Peninsula along the coast of California. What a beautiful part of the country. The scenery was spectacular! The fee was $6 per car and came with a map of the main attractions. There are about 27 stops on the map.

Since fall begins tomorrow, I thought it would be nice to share some ideas on things to do in Bucks County, PA during this colorful season. Bucks County is about 20 min. north of Philadelphia, an hour and a half by train from New York City, and a couple of hours by car to Ocean City, New Jersey. Over the coming weeks, I'll be talking about not only Bucks County, but the rest of PA, NJ, NY, and DE. Our whole area has so many great places to see, even Washington, DC is only a 3 hour drive away.

In December 2013, this series was on display at the Tibet House US. The Tibet House was founded by Columbia University Professor Robert Thurman, actor Richard Gere, and composer Philip Glass.
