Both Charlie and Jodi had field trips to Styer's when they were in preschool. School tours are for children ages 3 1/2 to 12 years. The Fall Harvest Tour features a wagon ride around the 107 acre orchard and a demonstration of apple harvesting techniques. Children and adults pick their own apples and will each pick a 3 to 5 pound pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. There's a fun trip through spider web alley.

There's also a 3 acre corn maze for the whole family.

*****Snipe's Farm is located in Morrisville, Bucks County at 890 Bridge Street

Snipe's Farm and Education Center - http://www.snipesfarm.org/

Fall activities at Snipe's are from Sept 19-Nov 1, 2015, Saturdays 9-6 and Sundays 10-5.

See farm animals including bunnies, chickens, and goats. Navigate the Giant Corn Maze with its Amazing Wetlands theme. In October, bring your flashlight and see the corn maze at night. Groups can enjoy a nighttime hayride, corn maze, and bonfire. Jodi's Girl Scout troop used to do this in the fall. It was fun!

*****Freddy Hill Farms in Landsdale, PA. It's a great place in Montgomery County, especially for toddlers and elementary school kids. We made it a tradition for 5 years and the kids always had a great time. You can go for a hayride to the pumpkin patch, pick pumpkins, find your way through a cornstalk maze, watch pig races, go for pony rides, see farm animals, and eat homemade ice cream. They also have 2 miniature golf courses, batting cages, a driving range, and a Pro Shop. Fall Fest hours are 12 Noon until 5:00pm Saturdays and Sundays in October.

Just a short half hour ride from Yardley, PA, is Six Flags and during the fall, FrightFest turns this park into a ghoulish adventure. We've had season passes for Six Flags for several years now and always enjoyed FrightFest. It's definitely for older tweens and teens. Weekends in October, the park is open Fridays 5:30-Midnight, and Saturdays and Sundays 11:00AM - Midnight. FrightFest begins in the evenings when zombies begin to roam. Some attractions are included with your season pass and some require a special wristband ticket. In 2015, there's the Asylum, Circus Psycho, The Bloody Fountain, The Haunted Heist, Wasteland, Dead Man's Party (my favorite, featuring some great music and dancing), The Awakening, and more!
