Flashback Friday - Denali Wilderness Safari Alaska

In a salute to my Aunt, here she is on the jet boat for the Denali Wilderness River Safari!

What a fabulous experience! If you are headed to Alaska and Denali National Park, this tour is not to be missed. It included a ride along 25 miles of wilderness river, a snack, panning for gold, and wildlife viewing. It's about Alaskans showing Alaska. The tour is approximately 3 hours long and is considered an easy activity. The minimum age is 5. The only thing you need to do is bring a jacket and a camera and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Hosting the tour are boatmen, trappers, hunters, and woodsmen showing of their gorgeous state. They share their stories about their life along with tips about trapping, hunting, prospecting, and mining, and how to survive and thrive in this amazing place.

If you would like to participate in Flashback Friday, send in a picture and a short story of who you were with and where you were. It can be a photo from your travels or from your own hometown.
