The Monterey Peninsula, California. In July of 1990, Margaret and I took the 17-mile drive around the Monterey Peninsula along the coast of California. What a beautiful part of the country. The scenery was spectacular! The fee was $6 per car and came with a map of the main attractions. There are about 27 stops on the map.
